Corporate Gifting
Wrapped Intentions
Explores how product design, packaging, and storytelling can transform corporate gifting from a transactional exchange into a meaningful user experience.
Year :
2025-2026
Industry :
Corporate Gifting
Project Type :
Final Thesis Project
Project Duration :
6 months

Problem :
Corporate gifting is often treated as a transactional activity, resulting in products that lack relevance, usability, and emotional value. Many gifts are generic and fail to create a meaningful connection between the recipient and the brand. This project explored how product design, packaging, and storytelling could transform corporate gifting into a more purposeful and memorable experience.

Solution :
Wrapped Intentions is a comprehensive exploration of corporate gifting through three interconnected projects: Utility Gifting (Laptop Bags & Packaging), Festive Gifting (Diwali Hamper Systems), and Corporate Journey Gifting. The project combined user research, market analysis, product development, packaging design, and storytelling to create gifting solutions that balance functionality, aesthetics, and brand value.
Each outcome was designed to address a specific gifting context while maintaining a consistent focus on usability, emotional engagement, and experience-driven design. The result was a collection of products and systems that demonstrate how thoughtful design can elevate gifting beyond the object itself.

Challenge :
The primary challenge was managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a cohesive design narrative across different categories and user scenarios. Each project required extensive research, concept development, material exploration, technical detailing, and packaging integration within a limited timeframe.
Balancing aesthetics, functionality, and manufacturing feasibility became a critical part of the process.
Summary :
Wrapped Intentions reflects a design approach that views corporate gifting as an experience rather than a transaction. Through research-driven design and system thinking, the project demonstrates how products, packaging, and storytelling can work together to create meaningful interactions. The outcome highlights the potential of intentional design to create gifting solutions that are functional, memorable, and relevant to contemporary professional lifestyles.
